As teams begin to release their non-conference schedules, it’s time to see what games could help make or break the teams season. 5th on the list are the SEMO Redhawks.
It’s rare for most any small conference team to play as many home games as away games during the non-conference schedule, yet SEMO has managed to put together a rather home-friendly schedule.
The first game that sticks out at me is the visit to Bradley on November 16th. Bradley wasn’t a very good team last year, and even lost to Eastern Illinois in the middle of an early season 5-game skid. It’s a winnable road game for the Redhawks, as are their two trips to the state of Arkansas.
The 2 Non D-I games are a bit disappointing, but they do host 4 D-I schools, including Missouri-Kansas City and Miami (Ohio).
This schedule is a good mix of solid competition and winnable games, both at home and on the road. They have a good run up of 4 very winnable contests before they face off against Morehead State to start conference play.
