As teams begin to release their non-conference schedules, it’s time to see what games could help make or break the teams season. Next up, the defending OVC Tournament champs (and NCAA bracketbuster) Morehead State Eagles
You know what happens when you win a NCAA Tournament game? Apparently, you get to play a November schedule that rivals almost any schedule in terms of difficulty in the entire NCAA. When NC State is the weakest D-I school you play in a given month, you know it’s not going to be easy going.
Now if someone could just explain to me what West Alabama is doing in the Legends classic.
This team will learn a lot about it self in the first month of basketball. I’m just a little curious how well the team will respond to what could easily be a 2-6 start. December gets much, much easier after their trip to Kent State, and could put Morehead over the .500 mark entering OVC play.
And yes, you read right. They’re playing West Virginia in the state of West Virginia. Just not *at* West Virginia.
