EIU Game Observations:
-Coach Miller again went deep on his bench with 7 players seeing action off the bench. Miller was very intense directing his team on the floor and at times quite upset with what he saw. Clearly, this team is not near where it needs to be.
– Freshman Josh Piper and Joey Miller again played extended minutes and showed maturity beyond their few games of college experience. Piper had a game high 8 rebounds and Miller had 7 points.
-JC transfer Malcolm Herron flashed signs of his potential with 7 points in 12 minutes.
-EIU returns home Wednesday to host Eureka College.
