The OVC might not have a lot of players in the NBA, but the ones they do are shining as of late.
Former UT Martin standout Lester Hudson is coming off a career night, and earned himself another 10 day contract with the Cavs. One reason for his standout play: Kyrie Irving has been injured, allowing Hudson to play more minutes. It could be interesting to see what happens when Irving returns, which is expected early next week. But for now, Hudson’s stay in the NBA will continue.
And speaking of career night, the Manimal, Kenneth Faried, made a few more believers after scoring 27 points, and pulling down 17 rebounds in a rout of the Warriors. He’s having a monster rookie year, and looks to have a bright pro career ahead of him.
Not bad for an “undersized” forward, eh?
