Is he still too small for the NBA?
Former Morehead State standout Kenneth Faried is getting recognition for his outstanding rookie season with the Denver Nuggets, finishing 3rd in Rookie of the Year voting, behind Cleveland’s Kyrie Irving and Minnesota’s Ricky Rubio.
Without a doubt, Faried was worthy of mention with the top rookies in the NBA.
Faried averaged over 10 points and 7 rebounds a contest for Denver, becoming a regular in the Nuggets starting lineup for most of the second half of the season.
In Denver’s 7-game playoff series with the Lakers, Faried averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds, putting up 3 double-doubles against Los Angeles.
