It’s been an up and down road for Landon Curtis at Austin Peay. As a freshman he won the battle for backup quarterback, and started 3 games when Jack Ryan was injured.
But then, coming out of spring practice, Curtis was dropped to the number 3 quarterback, falling behind redshirt freshman Jacob Sexton.
Now Curtis has decided to leave the Governors program for unspecified “personal reasons’, according to Clarksville Online.
In three and a half games, Curtis threw for just 281 total yards, completing on 52% of his passes, (34 of 66) throwing for one touchdown and two interceptions.
According to Clarksville Online, freshman Cage Scurlock will move into the 3rd slot.
