UT Martin’s Corerio Maclin is currently sidelined after having wrist surgery late in the offseason. According to UT Martin sports information, the injury could keep the Skyhawks forward out until mid-December.
They added that Maclin did not play in the Skyhawks exhibition today, still sporting a wrist brace. From that statement, it seems highly unlikely that Maclin is taking part in practices either.
The school didn’t state what led Maclin to have the surgery.
Last season, Maclin averaged 6.3 points a game for the Skyhawks, hitting 49% from the field, coming mostly off the bench. Maclin also pulled down 2.2 rebounds, averaging 14.5 minutes a game for UT Martin. He started 5 games.
