4-star prospect Demarcus Croaker has decommitted from Murray State, and is believed to be on the verge of committing to play with the Texas Longhorns. According to multiple reports, the Longhorns have recently re-intensified their efforts to land the recruit.
Let’s begin with what’s changed from last week. Austin Peay is mathematically eliminated from OVC Tournament contention…and their loss makes the Redhawks are a lock as a result. But for the most part, last week didn’t really solve much of anything. Obviously, that will change this week, with the clock running out on a few of the teams
Let’s be honest: today’s game, on paper isn’t all that interesting. The line for SIU Edwardsville at Belmont opened with the Bruins as 26 1/2 point favorites, and while that number is likely to fall somewhat, the Cougars are going to be 20+ point underdogs heading to Nashville.
So if bracketbusters didn’t fulfill your want for mostly meaningless non-conference February games, there’s another today.
