Winners of five of their last seven, the Redhawks are soaring into tournament play, led by an incredibly deadly three-point attack that put up an OVC record 20-threes last week, and followed it up with an impressive 12-19 performance in an upset over Murray State. The Panthers went from losing to an NAIA team at home in November, to an 11-game losing streak that included an 0-6 start in conference play, to not only in the tournament, but one of the stronger teams down the stretch.

After a 1-7 start to OVC play, the Skyhawks went .500 in their last eight games of the season, squeaking into the 8th spot in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. AP announces finalists for next head football coach

Austin Peay State University will begin interviewing candidates this week for its vacant head football coaching position.
