[Original Story] It appears Tennessee State isn’t waiting until Selection Sunday to secure their spot in the postseason.
According to one report, Tennessee State has accepted a bit to the College Insider Tournament, or CIT.
The report comes in the form of a tweet from Jason Belzer, who is involved with the CIT.

We have reached out to Tennessee State for a confirmation, and are currently awaiting a response.
If so, it would make the second straight season Tennessee State has played in a postseason tournament. The Tigers appeared in last year’s College Insider Tournament, losing in the first round to Mercer.
Other Ohio Valley Conference schools considering their postseason fate include Murray State and Eastern Kentucky.
