SIUE has added point guard Cameron Craig. Craig, a 6-foot, 190-pound guard comes to SIUE after playing his first two years at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas.

“We want to welcome Cam to our Cougar family,” SIUE head coach Lennox Forrester said. “He brings a very high basketball I.Q. and toughness to our team.”

Craig led the Red Ravens with 123 assists (3.5 per game) as a sophomore. He also was the third leading scorer, averaging 9.6 points a game for the team which finished 32-3.

“He is a gifted passer and does a great job of making his teammates better,” Forrester said. “Cam also is a very good scorer as well, scoring nearly 10 points per game.”

Craig also was a second team National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 6 selection for the Red Ravens, who finished 18-0 in conference play.
