Former UT Martin WR Quentin Sims is getting a chance to keep his NFL dreams alive, as he’s been invited to the Atlanta Falcons rookie mini-camp. Although he hasn’t signed a contract, the three-day camp will allow Sims a tryout to join the Falcons this summer.
Sims was named as a first team All-OVC selection this past season after finishing third in the conference in receptions per game (7.8) and receiving yards per game. (99.3) Sims also caught a league high 16 touchdowns during his 1,092-yard season.
Sims joins Murray State quarterback Casey Brockman as undrafted free agents invited to rookie camps. Brockman will attend Seattle’s rookie camp later this month.
