Former Jacksonville State OL Tori Mobley will sign with the Carolina Panthers as an unrestricted free agent, according to a tweet from the JSU Gamecocks official account.
The 6’3″, 280-pound lineman, was a three-year starter with the Gamecocks, a team that finished in the top 3 in the OVC in rushing yards in both his junior and senior season.
Mobley started in 35 games for Jacksonville State, on the field for over 1,800 snaps. Mobley recorded over 150 knockdowns over his career.
Mobley will become the 77th player in Jacksonville State’s football history to sign with a professional football team, joining sixth-round NFL draft pick Alan Bonner (Houston Texans) from the 2012 squad.
