With the first pre-draft combine out of the way, now many teams are holding their own, which is good news for one former OVC standout hoping to hear his name called on draft night. Former Murray State forward Ed Daniel will take part in a combine in Brooklyn on Thursday.
The Nets, as well as the Houston Rockets and L.A. Clippers are hosting the combine of 44 players, mostly players expected to go in the second round, or perhaps undrafted. Much like last week’s combine, there will be measurements and skill tests, but unlike that combine there will also be some 5-on-5 action.
Daniel’s group will compete on Thursday, starting at 9:30 a.m. Louisville’s Peyton Siva, Temple’s Khalif Wyatt, and Missouri’s Lawrence Bowers are three of the more high profile names in Daniel’s group.
