Ian Clark, Golden State
14 points, 5-10 FG, 2 steals, 21 mins
Lester Hudson, LA Lakers
13 points, 5-8 FG, 9 reb, 4 ast, 26 mins
Ed Daniel, Atlanta Hawks
DNP (2nd straight game)
Starting at the end, Daniel’s summer league is going rather poorly. He’s played in just one of the three summer league games, and only nine minutes in that.
Clark can’t break through to the starting five yet for Golden State, but continues his solid scoring effort. He’s also been good for a few steals in every contest, so he showing his defensive skills as well. I’m going to continue saying it until it happens, Clark needs to get a contract, and I’m virtually sure he will get one and earn an invite to a team’s training camp.
The Warriors play today at 5:30 against Milwaukee.
Hudson has NBA experience, and for the most part it’s shown in Las Vegas. Anytime you’re near a double-double in a summer league game, you’ve had a good night, and he’s showing that he should be on an NBA roster. Of course, we thought this same thing late last season, and for reasons unbeknownst to us, he couldn’t.
