If you’re like us, you may have wondered why UT Martin guard Mike Liabo hasn’t played all season, we have our answer. Liabo has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules, according to the team’s own game notes.
Liabo was the Skyhawks second leading scorer last year, averaging 13 points a game, and was a big part in UT Martin’s late season surge to make the OVC Tournament. Liabo was also the Skyhawks biggest three-point threat, and rarely got himself into foul trouble.
There’s no word on exactly what caused Liabo’s suspension, on when he could return to the team.
