- The football season may be over, but Jacksonville State is expected to learn the extent of the injury to quarterback Eli Jenkins today, according to the Anniston Star. Jenkins went down late in the second quarter in the Gamecocks quarterfinals loss to Eastern Washington, in what appeared to be a turning point in the game. The fear, according to the paper, is a ligament issue, which if severe could sideline the redshirt freshman during spring ball.
- If there’s one non-basketball picture you need to see today, it’s this:That’s the president of Eastern Kentucky University, taking a selfie before delivering the Presidential address to over 1,400 graduates and their families Saturday. It’s too entertaining a picture to not share.

UT Martin at Presbyterian: The Blue Hose (who need a new nickname) have just one Division I win under their belt this season, and have struggled to score all year long, with the notable exception of Jordan Downing, who is averaging just shy of 20 points a game. Presbyterian can knock down the three, and should present a good challenge to the Skyhawks on the road.
SIUE at Chicago State: These teams have played each of the last two seasons, with SIUE taking both contests. Number one concern for SIUE: ball control. The Cougars are among the best in the nation at forcing turnovers, and SIUE isn’t among the best at holding onto the ball. Chicago State doesn’t have a particularly dangerous offense, so we’ll see how SIUE’s defense can stand up.
