WHERE: DIDDLE ARENA. BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY
LOCAL TV: RACER TV NETWORK
NATIONAL TV: ESPN3
SPREAD: WKU (-8)
Two in-state rivals will take to the floor for the 151st time tomorrow at 1 pm central time. The Racers enter the game at 5-5 while the Hilltoppers come in at 6-4. Murray State are winners of their last three contest and WKU is coming off a close win over Southern Miss.
This being the biggest out-of-conference game for both schools emotions will be high on the court and in the stands, as many Racer fans look to make the trip to Bowling Green.
Murray State will have to do what no other team has done all season, beat WKU at home. The ‘Toppers are 5-0 at Diddle and have TJ Price to thank for most of their success. The guard has reached double figures in 20 of his last 22 games dating back to last season.
The Racers have won three straight and although we may be downplaying the wins over Evansville and Lipscomb (the Bisons are 4-3 against the OVC), Murray State doesn’t have a real quality win yet. A win over an archrival, on the road would be nothing shy of a solid win.
By the way, we recorded this preview before the spread was released. So obviously, Vegas odds-makers are paying attention to what I say. Okay, so not really.
