Belmont University men’s basketball will play at Green Bay Tuesday in the first round of the 2014 Postseason NIT. Tip-off time is 7:15 p.m. CT from Green Bay’s Resch Center. The game will televised on ESPN3.

The Bruins (24-9) won their fifth consecutive conference regular season championship this season and reach postseason for the ninth time in 11 years.

The Phoenix (24-6) won the Horizon League regular season championship.

Belmont and Green Bay each distinguished themselves in non-conference play, with the Bruins earning victories over North Carolina, Indiana State and Middle Tennessee among others, while Green Bay most notably defeated Virginia and Tulsa.

Belmont’s J.J. Mann and Green Bay’s Keifer Sykes each were named player of the year in their respective conferences.
