Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball players Eric Stutz and Deverin Muff were selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2013-14 Honors Court, which recognizes men’s basketball players that excelled in academics during the past season.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must have be at least a junior with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2013-14 academic year, and students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
Both players were recognized as Colonel Scholars (3.0 GPA) in 2013-14. Stutz also earned the Bratzke Award of Excellence (highest GPA on the team).
A record number of 895 student-athletes from 335 colleges and universities earned NABC Honors Court distinction.
