There’s are schedules made to prepare your team for a conference run, and there are schedules made for fans. Rarely, does one schedule do both.

This schedule does. It’s another great schedule, although in a different way from Belmont’s.

Thoughts

SEMO may be bringing in an SEC team next year, but Murray State is bringing in an American Conference team this year. It’s not as impressive, but it’s a very solid way to start off the year. The road slate, though, is truly fantastic. You could easily travel to every single road game on the schedule — every one. In a car. Most on a tank of gas. It’s simply fantastic. I don’t the two non-DI’s, although I understand it’s mostly a necessary evil. If I’m nitpicking, I don’t know there’s a “marquee” game. But those are small potatoes — this is solid.

Road Trip to make

Every one. Seriously, every single one. This is a schedule where you can say, 15 years from now, you followed this team to every game for the entire season. Do it.

Don’t waste your money…

For the two non-Division I teams. The rest of the slate is too good.

Will there be an OVC conspiracy in Racer Land? Racers start first 3 on road with Morehead to open OVC slate and Belmont being first home game. A pretty tough start.
