After leaving Saturday’s game against Kansas with an injury, Southeast Missouri running back DeMichael Jackson will miss the next six weeks after suffering a broken hand.
Jackson led the Redhawks with 977 yards a season ago, and appeared on pace for an even stronger senior year in the Redhawks much improved offense.
According to the Southeast Missourian, senior Lennies McFerren or junior Lewis Washington will start on Saturday against No. 14 Southern Illinois. McFerren rushed for 47 yards on six carries against Kansas.
