There’s good news for Murray State big man Jonathan Fairell. According to WPSD Local 6, A recent MRI on Fairell shows his injured hip is healing.
Murray State head coach Steve Prohm says the Fairell is participating in practice, but is limited. There’s no word whether Fairell will be ready for the Racers’ season opener November 14th.
Prohm told the television station that the test results showed continued tear of the muscle, but scar tissue has developed, indicating that the injury is healing. Swelling internally is decreased as well.
The injury is a particularly difficult one to put a timetable on, due to where it’s located, and the nature of the injury itself.
