The early signing period begins today, (which is amazing timing for journalists, becuase, it’s not like the season starts in two days or anything) which means we should see news about signings over the next few weeks. Most of these signings aren’t going to be a shock — most committed weeks, if not months ago, but we’ll keep track of them as we go.
Among those we know about are a pair from Indiana heading to Belmont: Seth Adelsperger, from the town of Peru, and Michael Benkert, from Center Grove. Adelsperger is a two-star center, according to Scout. 6’11. Belmont recruited a non-guard, everyone! Benkert is a three-star rated guard, according to scout. Two solid pickups for the Bruins
It’s November 12th, we haven’t played any basketball yet, but of course there are already Bracketologies out. Since there’s not a lot of news out there, as we still wait for opening night, I actually looked.
So…Where does the OVC rank? CBS Sports has Murray State coming out of the conference (as does most national media) as a 13-seed. So, we don’t need the season, everyone. CBS has it all figured out! Let’s just fast-forward to April.
ESPN has actually not put out one since April — kudos to them.
Today was a bit of a preview what’s to come this season. We’ve got more content planned than ever — with multiple game previews, recaps, infographics, and more throughout the year. As a result — it’s going to be hard to keep everything on the home screen, without it being huge.
