In college basketball — you don’t have to time to dwell on what happened in previous games. That’s especially true when you have games in back-to-back games. Southeast Missouri will play their second game in the LMU Classic, and due to a scheduling change, Austin Peay’s season starts today on the road, only to return home for a contest tomorrow.
Maybe it’s a good things. Not every player has short memories — but especially after tough losses, this forces them to think about what’s next.

This is a tough challenge for the Governors, who are a double-digit underdog on the road against a team that returns their playmakers from a 20-win team a year ago. Austin Peay’s lost their top scorer, but could challenge the Hilltoppers on the interior. The big question: can they get stops? WKU’s inside-outside combo of T.J. Price and George Fant means you have to be strong across the entire defense.
I’m heading to Diddle Arena for this one — so you can follow it on twitter @OVCBall

The Redhawks are still shorthanded for this one, and will almost certainly have their hands full with Johnny Dee, who 25 points in San Diego’s loss to Boise State. While SEMO’s offense didn’t turn over the ball, they still struggled to score, and obviously depth was an issue. The Torerros like the shoot the three, but the Redhawks can’t afford to get in a shootout.
