His co-OVC player of the year in 2013, Ian Clark, just inked a one-year deal with Golden State worth just north of $1 million dollars.
Canann has spent the last season and a half with the lowly 76ers, but it allowed Canaan a great opportunity to play. The former Racer played in 77 games last season, and started 39. He averaged 10.9 points a game, shooting 35% from three-point range, and 83% from the free-throw line. He also recorded an assist-to-turnover ration north of 1.5. Canann also spent more than a season in Houston, before joining the 76ers.
Cannan will likely play behind Rajon Rondo, who joined the new-look Bulls earlier in the summer during free agency.
