Corey Walden saw the floor for 15 minutes, but didn’t score in his first action for the Boston Celtics during the 2016 NBA Utah Summer League.

Walden went 0-3 from the field, including one three-point miss, in a game against the host Jazz. Walden did pull down three rebounds, and get a steal in the Celtics win.

This is Walden’s second time playing with the Celtics in summer league play. Last year, Walden averaged 2.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.5 steals in 16.5 minutes per game during the summer. He spent last year with the Maine Red Claws, an NBA D-League affiliate of the Celtics, after being signed by Boston in September. He was waived October 24th.

Walden started 21 games for the Red Claws, averaging 12.2 points a game.
